Collection of general information

When you access our website, information of a general nature is collected automatically. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar data. This information is technically necessary to deliver the content you request correctly and is inevitably generated when using the internet.

Cookies and external services

This website does not set any cookies and does not embed content from external providers. Fonts and images are delivered from our own server.

Web analytics with Umami

To understand how our website is used, we use the open-source software Umami. Umami runs on an analytics server operated by our group of companies (n-komm-analytics.de); the script is loaded from this server only after the page has finished loading. The data is not passed on to third parties and is not used for advertising.

Umami does not set cookies or store anything else on your device. It records aggregated information such as pages visited, referring website, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. Your IP address is only processed briefly to determine the country and is not stored. So that page views within the same session can be grouped, Umami generates an anonymous identifier that changes daily. This makes it impossible to recognize you over several days or to link the data to you as a person.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in analyzing and improving our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to the processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), for example by email to the address above; you can also prevent the script from loading by using a content blocker in your browser.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption via HTTPS.

Contact form

If you contact us by email or via the contact form, the information you provide will be processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The information from the form is sent to us by email and is not stored on the web server. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.

Deletion or blocking of data

We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as required by statutory retention periods. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods have expired, the data will be blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the personal data we store about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
